Exploring Scale Using Paper Model

 5 Minute Paper Sculpture

I chose this paper sculpture out of my four because of its deceiving simplicity with its three points that touch the ground and its pinnacle cone shape inspired me to photo-edit it into a pavilion, a cap, and earrings.

Obsessed with this Fibonacci spiral-esque corner because I can just imagine people would curiously look up into its depths. Not only does it provide structural support but it also has a beautiful harmony as it's an organic shape found in nature, such as the centre of a sunflower or a seashell.

This photo reveals the underneath of the structure that would provide a triangular floorplan that could be perfect for a pavilion with its open sides and protective pyramid-like canopy.
